Regarding P. M. Sharon
Jennifer Rhea Maya Texas 8 Jan 2006
I have always been a strong supporter of your politics and approaches to foreign policies. When you became Prime Minister, I was young and felt that your approach to the Palestinian situation may have been extreme; however, after watching you grow into your position and researching the history of politics in the middle east, I realized that your position for peace in Israel and your stand against terrorism was what I essentially believed in.
I just watched an interview with you and I was blown away (again) by your sense of respect and support for Prime Minister Sharon. The interviewer asked a question about your future plans with Knesset or an office. You responded by reminding the interviewer that P. M. Sharon deserves respect and now is not the time to focus on the political office derby, but to focus on praying for the recovery of P. M. Sharon and giving him the respect he deserves.
Thank you for reminding this interviewer that P. M. Sharon has not passed away and is not expendable--he is alive and deserves time to recover. Israel needs time to recover from such disconcerting situation.
I wish you and Israel well and peace.
