Palestinian hypocrisy on Shalhevet Pass
Thames Goldman (19.4.2001)
The Palestinians cried bloody murder when, on September 30 of last
year, 12-year-old Mohammed al-Durrah was caught in a crossfire and
killed. His picture quickly became a symbol of the Palestinian
struggle.
But where was the outrage when a 10-month-old Jewish baby, Shalhevet
Pass, was killed by a Palestinian sniper on March 26? Little Shalhevet
was not caught in a crossfire. The sniper lined her up in his
telescopic sights and blew her head off. Yet Palestinian leader Yasir
Arafat has not uttered one word in condemnation of the attack.
Is Jewish blood cheap? Regardless of what one thinks about the
settlers in Hebron or the Mideast conflict in general, it is obvious
that Shalhevet was innocent regarding any grievances the Palestinians
may have.
Arafat's refusal to condemn her murder is sickening. Indeed, his
release of dozens of terrorists from Palestinian jails during the
intifada makes him complicit.
What kind of madman approves of killing babies? Should such a man
be made a head of state? British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain
negotiated land for peace with a madman in 1939, and the results were
disastrous.
Shalom,

Yasir Arafat denies Israel's right to exist! Read the constitution of
his Fateh faction of the PLO online at

Israel's destruction.
