"peace and order" loving "Muslim countries" ???? Robin 15 Nov 2001 Dear Friends I quote verbatim from an article in The Times which made me howl with laughter when I read it. The article is by the paper's political editor, Philip Webster, and appeared on page 7 of the 13th October 2001 edition. He writes:- "Tony Blair tells Muslim countries today that Osama Bin Laden's true objective is to overthrow their governments which believe in peace and order, and replace them with militants, who seek chaos. He calls the Taleban "bin Laden's puupet regime." " "If we don't take a stand against Osama bin Laden and his puppet regime in Kabul, he will seek to overthrow other Muslim states and put in place regimes of fear, intolerance and terror.," he says in an article prepared for newspapers in Muslim countries." My question is this:- To which "peace and order" loving "Muslim countries" do you think TB was referring? See if you can guess... Could it be:- IRAN??? SAUDI ARABIA????? PAKISTAN??????????? SYRIA?????????????????????? IRAQ??????????????????????????????? PALESTINIAN AUTHORITY ????????????????????????? Answers on a postcard please.....
