Letter from the Netherlands Geert Janssen, 21 Jul 2006 Dear Mr Netanyahu, A few days ago I saw an interview with you on Dutch TV (Nova, Clairy Polak). You are absolutely right. Hezbollah has to stop attacking Israel. Moreover they have to free the kidnapped soldiers. Israel has to combat an destroy the Hezbollah militia. In the last decade the opinion about Israel in the Netherlands changed radically. More and more people are against Israel. Antisemitism is increasing. Many people even deny the holocaust. This really worries me. I think radical islamic people are taking control of the Dutch society (Hofstadgroep, etcetera). I see this every day. I don't know what to do against this. What can I do as individual citizen of Dutch society? Political parties over here are pretty weak in my opinion and don't seem to solve the problems with radical islamists and antisemitical people.
