Smart people, decent people, honest people must now seize this clarifying moment to begin thinking and formulating a way to ensure a new proposition enters the MAINSTREAM for serious consideration. To wit: After 60 years on the table, quite obviously the "two-state" solution has proved to be a dead-end and a chimera. Israel and her true friends now need to reconsider the idea of a "one-state" solution; Israeli sovereignty from the Jordan to the Sea, with the status of Arabs living therein determined by the will of the Israeli people. Anyone willing to look history in the eye knows there is simply no other way, no other alternative. Everything else means succumbing to more illusions, delaying the inevitable and needlessly killing more Jews (and others) in the process. ----------- |
