The problem of the monopolized press transcends the frame of the
present political battle between right and left. Democracy can not
exist without free press, and today press is in first term radio and
television. There is not place in a democracy for a governmental
newspaper, television or radio, even if they were not monopolized.
Radio and television must be totally privatized and the advertising
marked opened to free competition. This will reduce also the share of
the existing newspapers in this marked, and facilitated the appearing
of new ones. Certainly, a lot of the current correspondents and
commentators will have to look for another job, and this is the cause
of their hysteria against Bibi.
Best wishes of success, Noah Nissani.
