BARAK - SHAS - MERETZ = FLIM FLAM Emanuel A. Winston, Middle East Analyst & Commentator 2000 Hold onto your gold teeth! The Flim Flam boys are on the loose - again. Here’s a brief description of the "Sting". It starts by the Shas Knesset and Cabinet members making a sham display of tendering their resignations to Ehud Barak - which includes their 17 Knesset seats. Meretz, led by the ultra radical Leftist, Yossi Sarid, offers their resignation ‘if’ Shas remains in the coalition. Now, these two parties hate each other at a visceral level. The Shas Party represents the religious Sephardic Israelis; Meretz is secular and virulently anti-religious. Why then would Sarid of Meretz offer to trade Shas the Meretz Party resignations if Shas would only remain in Barak’s supporting coalition with their 17 seats? Because without Shas, Barak would have a minority government and would have to rely upon the 13 Arab votes to decide vital State-breaking issues while Barak moves to give away the country. This drastic move by Meretz precedes Barak’s command performance at the Clinton White in the next few weeks. This frenzied performance of high drama by Meretz demonstrates that they already know that the Washington Summit was to fulfill their dreams of cleansing YESHA (Judea, Samaria and Gaza) of all Jews. The willingness to give up important Cabinet posts and Ministries allowing for expenditures of big budgets, is the clearest signal that there is something more important to be gained - at least for them. What is happening is a scheme of bribery, extortion and manipulation of the people’s interests. Barak, Meretz and Clinton have an agenda to withdraw to the 1967 borders which even the super dove, Abba Eban, called the "Auschwitz Borders". This includes gifting to Arafat all of Judea and Samaria eastward down to the Jordan River and the northern part of the Dead Sea. Exposing Jerusalem’s eastern defensive borders, the evacuation would include the Mount of Olives up to and possibly including the ancient Old City of Jerusalem, the Kidron Valley and all of what the Arabs call ‘east Jerusalem’. These were the areas of Jerusalem captured and held by Jordan for 19 years while King Hussein ethnically cleansed the area of Jews, destroyed 58 synagogues and desecrated the ancient Jewish cemetery on the Mount of Olives. Until 1948 Jews had lived throughout all of Jerusalem - east, west, north and south. The politicians and the accommodating news media accepted the characterization of an "Arab East Jerusalem", inhabited primarily by Arabs, knowing that this was propaganda and a lie! Meretz and Barak have entered into a secret agreement with Clinton and Arafat to force through the ethnic cleansing of Judea, Samaria, Gaza, the Golan and half of Jerusalem - including the Temple Mount. The game plan of Barak and Meretz is as follows: Recognizing that a Citizens’ Referendum would not necessarily allow this transfer and ethnic cleansing to take place, another plan has been adopted secretly. This was in collusion with the Clinton State Department team which specifically avoided any decision by the Israeli people or the Knesset until the agreements were signed on the White House lawn and, therefore, presumably irrevocable. Part of their ‘creative’ solution is to so confuse the citizens of Israel with land transfers, lease options, partial return of Arab refugees (followed by full return), a Referendum based on misleading language and secret commitments. Over $100 Billion dollars for the rehabilitation of refugees: including $40 Billions for the Palestinians, $17 Billion for Israel, $40 Billion for Jordan, $10 for Lebanon and $10 Billion for Syria - none of which has been voted by a reluctant Congress. No one knows where this money is supposed to come from. There is also the matter of the displacement of at least 40,000 settlers - unless they wish to remain under Palestinian rule. In effect, the formula is so deliberately complicated that the Israeli people will be bulldozed into their own elimination not even understanding why. (1) Barak is to meet in Washington with Clinton and Arafat behind closed doors in a re-play of the Wye pressure tactic used against Bibi Netanyahu when he was Prime Minister. Bibi was warned that he would be put into a Camp David style isolation and subjected to intense pressures, both psychological and real, but he refused to listen to this advice. After a few days Clinton would issue a momentous declaration that Barak and Arafat had come to an Agreement which was blessed by Clinton. The Declaration would come privately from Barak as Prime Minister - without prior consultation or approval from his Cabinet, the Knesset or by any vote of the people of Israel. By this underhanded trick, Barak would, of course, avoid any Citizens’ Referendum or a pre-emptive "NO!" vote by the citizens’ representatives in the Knesset. Most democratic countries in the world require a super majority of the citizens and a vote of 2/3rds or more in their Parliament to change the country’s borders or to make any major treaties. Even Barak’s own kibbutz requires a 75% majority to change policy, even on such minor issues as to whether to accept a new member. This is in direct contrast with the significance of abandoning large segments of the Land of Israel simply because a politician thinks " It’s a good idea." He is really only a temporary custodian of the Land with no rights to give it away. As David Ben Gurion said in 1937: "No one has the right to give away any of the Land of Israel." Barak would make a Proclamation as Prime Minister of Israel that he personally had taken the authority to divest Israel of ALL of Judea, Samaria and the watershed under those mountain ranges that supplies Israel with 30% of her water resources. As Defense Minister he was committing to the retreat of all military forces from this area, leaving the Jewish settlements to choose if they wish to remain under Palestinian sovereignty and military control. (This is a continuation of the Rabin-Peres Labor Party plan from the early 1980s to use the Arabs as ‘shock troops’ to push the Jewish settlers out of the territories by creating an increased misery index. The Barak-Meretz plan is to come to the Washington Summit commanded by Clinton ‘as if’ this was actually a negotiation. After an appropriate few days of seeming negotiation, Clinton would announce a breakthrough. Barak would concur that he has accepted the Clinton/State Department plan to withdraw to the borders delineated by Arafat which, in effect, would establish the borders of the neo-state of Palestine. Ever since the day Arafat signed the secret Oslo Accords in September of 1993, Arafat has proclaimed honestly that he would have a "State of Palestine from the River to the Sea, with Jerusalem as the capital of that State and only that State, and anyone who didn’t like it could go drink Gaza sea water." (It is interesting to note that he has recently changed his mantra to ...."go drink Dead Sea water." - perhaps indicating his intention to takeover the Dead Sea also.) Arafat has repeatedly issued his proclamations, just like Hitler did in his "Mein Kampf" but the Jews simply cannot believe his oft-stated intentions. Once the pre-planned words of commitment have left Barak’s mouth, Clinton - followed by the E.U. (European Union) would announce that they accept this commitment as irreversible in the name of all Israelis. Barak would then return to Israel and submit the deal to his Cabinet and the Knesset for Ratification. These two institutions, having been previously robbed of any authority by Barak as he has ignored them in all other matters, would be faced with the choice of defying the Super Powers and all of Europe or rubber stamping the Agreement. This is a well thought-out plan, no doubt, evolved between Clinton’s State Department Jewish team and Barak’s dedicated Leftist cohorts, namely, Peres, Beilin, Sarid and, of course, Barak. For them, anything goes to get what they want. But, their abandonment of Israel’s heartland is a sure recipe for a major war, leading to the demise of the Nation because the Arab world will perceive of a truncated Israel as weak and vulnerable to their next attack, probably with NBC (Nuclear, Biological and/or Chemical) delivered by long range missiles able to reach any place in Israel. The Plan to by-pass Israeli public opinion and the Knesset shows the ruthless intention to manipulate the already Israeli twisted political psychology of those now sitting in the Barak Government. That they can succeed in this devious plan just proves that Israel is not a true democracy but rather an oligarchy ruled by a handful of extremely radical Leftists who, instead of insuring the survival of the Jewish State, would rather satisfy the Arabs insatiable claim to "ALL of Israel, with Jerusalem as their capital". This they plainly state as their neo-state of Palestine quite openly as shown on all their maps, official stationary, school textbooks, television, soldiers’ emblems, etc. The American pressures by the Clinton Administration and his ongoing American foreign policy as controlled by the U.S. State Department have concocted this Faustian bargain. The coming Summit with Clinton, Barak and Arafat will be a replay of Wye, except that this will be the ‘coup de grace’, the final stroke of the headman’s axe. Barak has agreed to give away everything to Arafat - who according to accepted international law ought to be arrested by the FBI and tried as a mass murderer, of Americans as well as Israelis, instead of being honored by the highest American and Israeli officials. Bill Clinton will bless this unholy marriage in order to secure his Nobel ‘Peace’ Prize to wash away the stains he brought to the American Presidency. Sacrificing Israel’s security is a high price to pay to whitewash the record of a corrupt President and a Prime Minister whose election he helped fund and run with his guru, James Carville, et al. As for Shas, I can only be reminded of King Saul who disobeyed G-d, whereupon the prophet Samuel stripped him of his Kingship. As always, hope springs eternal with the thought that Shas will hold fast and vote against the massive hemorrhaging of Jewish Land but - don’t count on it. This just in: Barak will bring the head of Shas, Eli Yishai into the ministerial delegation going with him to Washington. Is that a bribe or to keep him close and susceptible to Washington’s flattery? The fix is in and all we can do is watch Israel be betrayed by her own leaders, unless the people awaken in time and throw out this defeatist government with their choke hold on the Israeli people. ### 1.
